Shoppable Campaign Films

Scandinavian fashion brand COS created beautiful campaign videos which echoed their brand story and feel.

The campaigns featured a large selection of products from their latest collection. COS used Smartzer's shoppable video technology to add a bespoke interactive layer to the campaign films which would enable their customers to easily learn more about the featured looks and products.

The experience was shared on COS e-commerce and designed to be subtle and seamlessly blended into the rest of COS e-commerce, without taking focus away from the video creative itself. Viewers were able to click on the looks that peaked their interest in the video to see more details for the featured products and ability to click through to the product pages. These shpppable video campaigns were recognised by the prestigious Draper's Digital awards.

COS wanted to provide its user base with a unique onsite experience that would help drive customer engagement and customer retention in a highly competitive and innovative e-commerce landscape. The initiative supports business objectives such as driving onsite engagement and providing users with a faster path to purchase.


Users were able to click on individual products and shop them directly from the video. The videos were distributed via Facebook and onsite, each optimized for either desktop or mobile viewing. The videos were also distributed to all COS international markets with each overlay displaying custom market information. Through capturing the COS brand identity, optimising for device and market, the campaign perfectly aligned with the brand and provided customers with a welcome video experience.


With over 60k views the campaign videos drove traffic into specific product pages for the new collection. Each customer was able to shop their desired item from the moment they saw it in the video.The videos had phenomenal engagement rates of 68% for social and 30.53% for onsite. These figures are outstanding customer engagement ratings and demonstrate one of the core values of the campaign.The user journey was also vastly improved with each video having high-levels of Click-throughs to product pages, with the Click-through rate for the social execution averaging at 30.6% across all platforms and markets.
