Lil Milan, an Italian Jewellery company, hosted a live shopping event on their Shopify store where the founder, Veronica, talked the viewers through the pieces from her latest collection while they were able to instantly add any of these products to the cart. The live shopping event was 45 minutes long featuring 10 different items from the range.

During the livestream, viewers could explore and shop the collection through the product carousel at the bottom of the screen. The watching audience also had the easy navigation to click on their favourite products via the featured products section on the top left of the player.

The event was promoted via the brand's social channels, email newsletter and a banner on the website which directed the audience to the live shopping show. During the event, the livestream link was shared on LilMilan's instagram stories via the swipe up function.

GOAL

LilMilan wanted to take advantage of Smartzer's livestreaming technology & provide their customers with an engaging and interactive live shopping experience. The show was to give customers the opportunity to ask questions directly to the brands founder whilst also having the ability to shop directly from the show.

Execution

With Smartzer's Shopfiy App, the brand were able to navigate Smartzer's technology into their catalogue so we could see vital product information from their e-commerce store. This made set up quick an efficient, ready for the Veronica to go live on her mobile phone. With key interaction features like comments & likes, it was easy for the online audience to engage with the founder.

Results

The event was a complete success where 85% of all the viewers interacted with the elements of it. Additionally, 61% of all these viewers clicked at least once on a CTA button to purchase or learn more about the products. Following this, a shoppable recording of the live stream was also shared through Instagram so viewers could see it if they missed it.
